Ecover
Ecover recognise how precious water is and are committed to making products that have as small an impact as possible on the water cycle. This appreciation of the importance of water has led Ecover to establish an exciting new partnership with WaterAid.
Sustainability is an important value that WaterAid and Ecover share and it lies at the core of this partnership. Ecover is supporting WaterAid partner projects in Hintalo Wajerat, northern Ethiopia, and have committed £270,000 over the next three years towards this work. With their support thousands more people will gain access to water and sanitation. Ecover will also be working to raise awareness of water issues in the UK.
Clare Allman, Ecover UK's Marketing Manager expressed that:
"This partnership is a fantastic way to strengthen Ecover's commitment to the environment and highlight the importance of water resources both in the UK and worldwide. We are delighted to work with our customers to support such vital work in Ethiopia."

WaterAid are delighted to announce the launch of a new, exciting partnership with exclusive jewellery designer, Carolina Bucci.
Carolina has designed a limited edition collection of pieces which will be on sale for a six month period, available from July until the end of December 2008.
The sales of these pieces will help to support WaterAid's work, enabling some of the world's poorest people to gain access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene education.
Carolina Bucci was born and raised in Florence, Italy, where her family has been manufacturing jewellery since 1885. It is fantastic that Carolina is supporting WaterAid through this partnership which will raise thousands of pounds for our work.
The pieces are available from the Carolina Bucci boutique, Browns in London and selected retailers internationally. For more information please visit Carolina's website (opens in new window).

Ben & Jerry's launched a limited edition Glastonberry ice cream in June 2006. The flavour continued Glastonbury's socially spirited tradition with 40p of the proceeds from each tub going to support WaterAid's work providing water, sanitation and hygiene projects in rural Nepal.
Ben & Jerry's has been very pleased with sales to date. The flavour was voted number one at Ben & Jerry's Sundae festival. The popularity of the ice cream was helped by WaterAid's activities at the stand. WaterAid worked with Ben & Jerry's and the production agency to provide support and activities at the festival.
The WaterAid poopla (featured in the photo above) proved to be one of the most popular attractions of the festival. The game is hoopla with the twist - the balls are fake poos and the receptacles are toilets. Playing poopla raises awareness about the importance of adequate sanitation and hygiene. The game also raised close to £1,000 over the weekend.
