Gifts in kind

In some cases your company may be able to make a gift other than money. WaterAid welcomes this form of giving, however, we may not be able to use all gifts, so please do check with us if you are unsure.

Please also bear in mind that our work overseas uses simple, low-cost technology which our beneficiaries must be able to maintain themselves. Therefore, we are unlikely to be able to make use of any high-tech water and sanitation equipment.

Gifts we would welcome include:

• WaterAid has an innovative scheme where mobile phones can be recycled. Find out how you can recycle mobile phones
  
• Company shares. Share giving is a tax efficient way to give money to charity
  
• Certain vehicles, for example Land Rover have recently generously donated a Land Rover for use in our work in Tanzania
  
• Certain types of office equipment or computers
  
• Gifts that we may be able to use as auction or raffle prizes
  
• Venues for events
