Veolia Water Southeast is an important partner for WaterAid and provides substantial support in a variety ways.

Customers are encouraged to support WaterAid through an appeal that is circulated with their domestic water bill. An amazing £45,000 has been donated so far and as a direct result of this support WaterAid have been able to help 3,000 people gain access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene education.

This base of supporters has given immeasurable security and stability to WaterAid allowing us to confidently plan new work, reaching more people with clean, safe water, sanitation and hygiene education.

In addition over the past 12 years more than £24,500 has been raised by staff through a variety of fundraising activities which have included cricket tournaments, bring and buy sales, car washes, sponsored walks and bike rides, raffles, donations, a monthly payroll lottery and an annual Give an Hour appeal. Mobile phones and used toner cartridges are also collected and recycled to raise money for WaterAid.
