They also held a successful Quiz night in September 2009 for employees, as part of the company Charity Week, raising £1000 for WaterAid which the committee are keen to continue.

Liz Scott from Essex and Suffolk water visited Uganda in August 2008, she says: "Witnessing how WaterAid has improved so many lives has been a fantastic experience but there are so many more people that desperately need help and this has given my fund-raising enthusiasm a real boost."

We visited a lady called Leotabira who owned an 'eco-san' toilet. Leotabira explained that in the past her pit latrines were destroyed by termites but the eco-san, funded by WaterAid, was an ideal solution.

It's built above ground with two compartments, whilst one compartment is in use the other is left to rot producing an excellent fertiliser. Leotabira was proud of her toilet saying: "The eco-san is private, comfortable and my crops are growing really well."
