Tendring Hundred Water Services

Tendring Hundred Water Services is committed to supporting WaterAid as its preferred development charity.

Tendring Hundred Water Services employees organise and participate in a range of fundraising and awareness raising activities, including a monthly employee payroll lottery.

David Moss, Tendring Hundred Water Services WaterAid representative explains: "We hold an enjoyable WaterAid Golf Day annually, which raises over £2000 and involves our suppliers and contractors in helping address the fundamental need of water for life."

Tendring Hundred Water Services also involve our customers in our efforts to save lives by funding WaterAid's annual campaign, enclosed in customers' accounts. In the last appeal almost 100 new supporters in the local region, decided to commit to a regular monthly donation. Andy Smith, General Manager of Tendring Hundred Water Services explains "This valuable support allows WaterAid to plan ahead in providing these most basic services essential to life; without them vulnerable communities are trapped in the stranglehold of disease and poverty."

Just £15 can provide a person with safe water, adequate sanitation and knowledge of good hygiene practices. This means that the continuing support of Tendring Hundred Water Services, its employees, customers, business partners and community, makes a fundamental and lasting difference.
