Cisco Euro Challenge
24 – 27 September 2009

The Cisco Euro Challenge, in aid of WaterAid, takes up to 80 top company teams from across Europe to compete against each other and experience two days and three nights of exhilarating action and adventure!

The 2010 date is yet to be announced so watch this space!

Described by many past participants as a "life-changing experience", this Intelligent Sport® challenge is designed to test physical, mental, and strategic skills as you work with your teammates to be the first to cross the finish line. What's more, you'll be helping some of the millions of people without clean water and sanitation along a path to get them out of poverty.

Cisco Euro Challenge Winners 2009

Congratulations to the overall event winners for 2009, Telenor.  A special congratulations to the Scottish Water Team for winning the Team Fundraising Trophy with over £11,000 raised and to Azzurri Communications for winning the Company Fundraising Trophy with over £20,000 raised.  For the first time this year, teams from the Water industry were also competing for the Water Industry Cup which was awarded to Southern Water.

 

What is the challenge?

Spanning two days and three nights, your team of five will need to learn to work together and strategise in an adrenalin-fuelled environment whilst taking on multi-sport tasks.

This year the challenge took place in the challenging terrain of Tromsø, a lively city located spectacularly on an island in Northern Norway.

Who competes?

Up to 80 teams made up of four people and one senior executive will take part in the Cisco Euro Challenge, all competing to walk away with the title of Best European Team.
