UK to Hong Kong Overland – Journey Completed!

On 15 November, Micheil Gordon and Jon Lee completed their nine-month cycling challenge from the UK to Hong Kong! Having spent 259 days travelling over 9,780 miles, Micheil and Jon were greeted with a warm welcome upon their arrival at the Kowloon Cricket Club.

Micheil and Jon have so far raised a staggering £18,520.43 for WaterAid, and are still seeing donations come in (having covered the cost of the trip themselves).

The two have stated that although the trip has been physically demanding, they have hugely enjoyed the experience, including meeting people from different backgrounds and encountering different ways of life. They are due back in the UK next week for a warm welcome and a well earned rest!

WaterAid would like to say a huge well done to Micheil and Jon for their tremendous efforts – they have demonstrated a huge commitment to their challenge and to WaterAid's cause.
