On Saturday, 21 June 2008, Anglican Christians from across the UK came together for the annual Glastonbury Pilgrimage. As practised in the catholic tradition of the church of God, the event saw pilgrims witness their faith.
The Noon Procession of Witness down the High Street took place before hundreds of onlookers.
WaterAid has the privilege of being the dedicated charity of the Glastonbury Pilgrimage. Over £1,000 was generously given by pilgrims on the day and a total of £3,253 has been raised to date by churches and individuals taking part in the Pilgrimage. All funds will directed toward WaterAid's work in Masindi, Northern Uganda.
Donations towards the Masindi project can be sent to: GPA Charities a/c, Well Cottage, Short Street, Chapmanslade, Westbury, BA13 4AA. You can also donate by calling 01373 832767 or you can email Robin.
