Live for Love is a Japanese music festival in support of WaterAid.

WaterAid is delighted to be the official charity at an exciting two day music festival, Live for Love, which takes place on 26-27 September 2009.

The event will play host to some of Japan's top rock and pop musicians and is expected to attract around 60,000 visitors, while also raising awareness about the global water and sanitation crisis and supporting WaterAid’s work.

Live for Love was launched in July in Tokyo. Since then, the organisers have been working tirelessly to promote the festival and the work of WaterAid across Japan. Two films have been made. You can watch one of them here:

For the other film, featuring Japanese pop star Yuna, head to our YouTube site.

In addition to the WaterAid films being shown at the festival there will also be a WaterAid stand at Yokohama Stadium giving festival goers the opportunity to find out more.

This amazing event will raise over £100,000 to support WaterAid’s work, making a massive difference to the lives of people in some of the world's poorest communities.
