WaterAid sends volunteers through the Worker’s Beer Company every year to work at some of the UK's best music festivals. Volunteer opportunities in the past have included Glastonbury, Latitude, Reading, Leeds, Hop Farm and Proms in the Park.
WaterAid is recruiting volunteers for upcoming UK festivals in 2011! Volunteers will be expected to work 4-7 hours a day behind the festival bars, serving drinks to festival goers. In return, you will be provided with food and free passes for the festival.
When you're not working you can chill out and enjoy the atmosphere of the festival. If the event runs over a number of days a secure camping area with toilets regularly cleaned, showers, and a subsidised canteen and bar will be provided.
In payment for your hard work, WaterAid will receive a contribution from the Worker's Beer Company in accordance to the amount of hours that you work.
This has been very successful in the past, raising over £56,000 for WaterAid. This has helped over 3,780 people gain access to safe water, sanitation and improved hygiene.
Volunteering for WaterAid through the Workers Beer Company is a great experience, not only will you be raising vital funds, but you will also get to go to some of the UK’s best music festivals for free!
