New York ran the first big city marathon and launched the concept world wide in the 1980s. It now has international following and is renowned for its overall buzz and the great atmosphere of its pre- and post-race celebrations.

There are few experiences like running the ING New York City Marathon. The course takes you over five bridges, through five boroughs and with more than two million spectators and music every half mile, you can be sure that the atmosphere is second to none. UK runners are the largest group of internationals in the race so you will be in excellent company.
