The 2012 marathon will take the same route as the 2011 marathon so you’ll be starting your marathon in the stunning city centre and making a grandstand finish at the Musselburgh Racecourse. It is the fastest marathon in the UK - so you can aim to get your best time yet!

Registration for the Edinburgh Marathon 2012 is now open! If you are interested in applying, it''s on a first-come, first-served basis so we’d recommend that you apply as soon as you can! To apply for a place and find out further information, please visit the Edinburgh Marathon website.

We do not have any charity places available but encourage you to apply for your own place and fundraise for WaterAid. Once you have secured your own place in the Edinburgh Marathon, we'd be delighted for you to join our team. You do not have a minimum sponsorship target, however much you can raise will be very gratefully received!
