Enjoy absolutely stunning scenery and take part in Britain's most beautiful marathon. The spectacular Kielder Water & Forest Park in Northumberland is home to northern Europe's largest man-made lake and England's largest forest.
The course rarely leaves the shores of Kielder Water; it follows the Lakeside Way meandering through the forest and heath land that surrounds the lake. The terrain varies between a mile or so of tarmac and the trail type surface which is ideal for running.
