New WaterAid school's workshops

School workshop volunteers needed


We are now extending our speaker service to include school workshops. This will initially be a one year pilot project and volunteers will be fully trained and supported by a dedicated WaterAid team.

Watery reads

Continue your World Book Day celebrations  with some brilliant watery reads recommended by WaterAid staff and school children. You could even hold a sponsored read. See our fundraising pages for posters and sponsorship forms.  

Students inspire peers to eat cake for WaterAid

Two students from Kent, prepared and taught a lesson to younger pupils, inspiring them to support a cake sale raising funds for WaterAid.

New module on women and water 

Women play a vital role in the collection of water in the developing world, often walking for hours each day to their nearest water source.  This module explores the effect on women’s lives and the changes that women bring to their communities once they have access to clean, safe water.

A set of six brand new activity and experiment sheets suitable for Key Stage 2 and 3 children are now available to download for free.

Puppets unlock the mysteries of water


Vagabondi Theatrical Arts have been working with the support of WaterAid to create Hydroscape; a show using animation, sand painting, projection, rod and shadow puppetry with music
