The award-winning British Social Enterprise has teamed up with product supplier Zepbrook to give customers a more ethical option for their water cooler and raise money for WaterAid at the same time. The 18.9L bottle is suitable for all types of water cooler and with Belu giving 100% of its profits to WaterAid, using it in the office is another way to help people without clean water or proper sanitation. Zepbrook will provide customers with a refurbished water cooler machine that can be installed for a one-off cost. There is no ongoing contract for the reusable water bottles which are available for refill on a "pay-as-you-go" basis. Belu CEO Karen Lynch commented: "Belu is constantly striving to find a more charitable and environmentally conscious way of doing business. We are thrilled to be bringing our formula for good business to the water cooler market and offer customers an option that is not only low cost and better for the environment, but will raise additional funds for WaterAid in the process." WaterAid formed an exclusive partnership with bottled water company Belu in June 2011. A social enterprise, Belu has pledged to give WaterAid 100% of its profits with a minimum of £100,000 per year. Belu has just been selected to take part in the second round of the Deloitte Social Innovation Pioneer programme. The 16 shortlisted social businesses will work with the business advisory firm over the next 12 months to grow their business and social impact.
