Three toilets and one tap were among the 160 Team WaterAid runners completing the event, which was once again blessed with glorious winter weather for running. Lauren Scarlett, Events Fundraising Officer, said: "A big thanks to our fantastic supporters who ran the Brighton Half Marathon to raise money for WaterAid's work, and to those volunteers who helped on the day and cheered our runners along. "There was a great atmosphere at all the WaterAid points, which helped raise our profile and made it a more enjoyable day for everyone." The 23rd outing of the popular seafront race attracted 10,000 athletes of all abilities. WaterAid volunteers manned a much needed water station at mile 11 and had time to celebrate and hand out bananas and other refreshments to our worthy runners at the WaterAid marquee near the finish line. There will be more than 100 runners supporting WaterAid at the fourth Brighton Marathon on 14 April, and a similar number running for us in the London Marathon on 21 April. If you're running one of the marathons and aren't already supporting a charity, why not support WaterAid?
