With an initial target of £35,000 set for this year's group, the group walked, ran, cycled, cooked, kicked footballs, bungied, sold, taught, begged, borrowed and danced to raise vital funds, and were still raising money right up until their final board meeting!

Once everything had been counted up, the final figure stood at a phenomenal £52,536.33, surpassing all expectations, and making this year's Business4Life group the most successful ever.

Vanessa Ashton, Water Industry Partnership Manager for South West and Wales said:

"Through the course of the year it has been evident that the participants have grown and developed as individuals through the experiences and opportunities which the Business4Life scheme offers. They have made life-long friends, many business contacts and become keen WaterAid supporters along the way. This is going to be a very hard target for future teams to meet or beat!"

The Business4Life programme has been running for 10 years, raising more than £250,000 for WaterAid.
