After two weeks of intense bidding, our Q Awards Christmas auction has closed – raising an incredible £9,000 for our work transforming lives in some of the world's poorest communities. The auction featured a whole host of prints signed by some of the UK's favourite musicians, from New Order, Boy George and the Kaiser Chief's Ricky Wilson to Dizzee Rascal, Sam Smith and Foxes. It also included a limited-edition Gibson Les Paul guitar – signed by some of the country’s leading guitarists including Johnny Marr (The Smiths), Serge Pizzorno (Kasabian), James Dean Bradfield (Manic Street Preachers) and Carl Barât (The Libertines) – which sold for a phenomenal £2,451.
