WaterAid is committed to being an open and transparent organisation, so we publish information about our work through the International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI).

The IATI aims to make public information on aid spending and activities more available and accessible worldwide.

The initiative brings together donors, partner countries, civil society organisations and other users of aid information to agree common transparency standards for reporting aid work. The UK Government was part of the initial group of donors that launched the IATI in September 2008.

WaterAid first published IATI data in August 2010 and we are committed to updating this data every three months. See below to download and find out more about our data.

About our data

We publish information about all our charitable activities.

Broad information about our country programme work is available in our annual data set and more detailed, project-by-project information is contained in our quarterly data set.

Annual IATI data set

Our annual data set includes WaterAid's budget for the next three financial years, as well as annual spending and budgets for each of our established country programmes. It also includes information on income from our donors, the names of our key partners and links to related documents such as our strategies, country programme evaluations, donor agreements and IATI documents. This information will be updated every September.

Download our raw IATI data below as an XML file.
