WaterAid publishes information about our work through the International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI).

The International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI) aims to make public information on aid spending and activities more available and more accessible, worldwide.

The initiative brings together donors, partner countries, civil society organisations and other users of aid information to agree common transparency standards for reporting aid work. The UK Government was part of the initial group of donors that launched the IATI in September 2008.

WaterAid first published IATI data in August 2012 and are committed to updating this data every three months. See below to download and find out more about our data.

About our data

WaterAid publishes information about all our charitable activities.

Broad information about our Country Programmes is available in our annual dataset and more detailed, project-by-project, information is contained in our quarterly dataset.

Annual IATI Dataset

Our annual dataset includes WaterAid's budget for the next three financial years as well as annual spending and budgets for each of WaterAid's established country programmes. It also includes information on income from WaterAid's donors, the names of our key partners and links to related documents such as our strategies, country programme evaluations, donor agreements and IATI documents. This information will be updated every September.
