WaterAid also seeks to influence policy change through government and other key sector actors to secure and protect the right of poor people to safe, affordable water and sanitation services.
About the Role
Reporting to the Director of Finance and IT, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing, maintaining and improving financial and transactional accounting at WaterAid. Supervising one staff member, the Senior Accountant will ensure the timely and accurate completion of account reconciliations and the best practice management of transactional finance systems and processes.
The Senior Accountant will provide leadership and support to the Director of Finance and IT to maintain and improve financial systems. An enthusiastic influence on team culture, the Senior Accountant will seek to positively identify opportunities to improve organisational systems and financial support processes.
