We all need clean water to survive; it's vital for keeping clean and healthy. But many people are going without, impacting their health, education and livelihoods. We have come a long way in improving access to water, sanitation, and hygiene in Bangladesh. However, we still have a long way to go.

3.3

million people don't have access to clean water close to their home.

This affects women and girls the most as they are the ones to carry the water burden for their families, travelling great distances to collect water in rural Bangladesh.

1,000+
