WaterAid launches Star Rating System for public toilets: Call for Evaluators across Bangladesh

WaterAid Bangladesh, in collaboration with sector stakeholders, is introducing a Star Rating System for Public Toilets—a pioneering recognition framework aimed at setting national benchmarks for excellence in public sanitation.
As part of this initiative, WaterAid is inviting applications for the role of Star Toilet Evaluators, who will play a crucial role in assessing the cleanliness, functionality, and accessibility of public toilets across the country. All shortlisted evaluators will get the opportunity to receive training sessions to become familiar with the Star Rating evaluation process.
Evaluators will conduct field visits to public toilets, assess facilities using the Star Rating guidelines, and provide feedback and certification. Eligible applicants must be Bangladeshi citizens aged 18+, with at least an HSC or equivalent, able to travel, and equipped with a smartphone and internet access. Evaluators will receive an allowance per evaluation, a certificate of recognition, and networking opportunities with WASH professionals.
Intersted users are requested to apply by 15 June 2025. Seats are limited and reviewed on a rolling basis. To learn more, visit Star rating system: Call for evaluators.
