Baseline Study for the Project- Climate  Resilient WASH project in the vulnerable locations

The baseline study of the project “Climate Resilient WASH in the most vulnerable locations of Bangladesh” assessed the capacity of local level stakeholders based on their engagement and active role in improving WASH situation at the project locations. The study finds, upazila Secondary Education office, Community group and School Management Committee (SMC) received the highest scores between 3.0-3.3 out of 5 while municipality, union parishad and DPHE received lo the lowest scores between 1.0-1.8. Besides, at the household level 46% households have access to basic water facility and 44% households have access to safely manage, while around 6% household had un-improved sanitation facility and 9% households reported defecating open.
