Project Brief: National and Bilateral WASH Advocacy (NaBWASHA)

WaterAid with gracious support from Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) initiated a project titled ‘National and Bilateral WASH Advocacy (NaBWASHA)’ in Bangladesh. This project will focus on accelerating action toward Citywide Inclusive Sanitation (CWIS), internalising system functions such as Responsibility, Accountability, and Resource Planning, strengthening local capacities, and ensuring key service outcomes such as Safety, Equity, and Sustainability. As a part of the project, few selected municipalities will be supported in line with the National Action Plan (NAP) following the Institutional and Regulatory Framework on Faecal Sludge Management (IRF-FSM) for technical assistance to capacity development of municipal authorities in planning, developing, and implementing Citywide Inclusive Sanitation (CWIS).
