Holiday Campaign 2017

This holiday season, your gift to WaterAid will leave a lasting legacy of health, hope and development in Mali.

With your generous support we aim to raise $200,000 to form the cornerstone of a comprehensive $5M project. Every dollar raised will help meet the water and sanitation needs of nearly 60,000 people.

Access to these basic services will have both an immediate and long lasting impact - alleviating untold suffering and unleashing the potential for a better life.

Project after project has taught us to never underestimate the power of the human spirit to elevate an impoverished community, spur it towards joy and optimism. Beyond a healthier, more productive citizenry, the concrete results of WaterAid’s Mali: Healthy Communities project will produce intangibles that will shape the future of the people of Kati and Bla; renewed hope, self-reliance and a community spirit that seizes the possibilities for a better life.

There is universal agreement that access to clean water and decent toilets is a fundamental human right. With your help, Mali: Healthy Communities will help the communities of Kati and Bla to claim this right.

In these villages, for these people, together we can and will change the discussion about water and sanitation from being a right, to being a simple, permanent fact in their lives.  Just as it is in ours.
