Are you passionate about everyone having access to clean water? Do you want to make a difference during your time at university? Get involved with WaterAid as a student and turn your passion into action.

Here in Canada, we take clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene for granted. But millions of people still don't have access to these basic human rights. We want to make them normal for everyone, everywhere within a generation – and we need your help!

WaterAid’s university chapters work hard to spread the word about the fundamental importance of clean water and sanitation in the fight against global poverty.

There are so many ways to partner with us. Check out our fundraising ideas to get started.

Become a Student Ambassador

As a Student Ambassador for WaterAid, you’ll be the voice of WaterAid at your university. You will unite your fellow students to the WaterAid cause and boost your fundraising efforts on campus. You’ll take action to:

  • Educate your university community about the importance of clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene to end extreme poverty and inequality.
  • Campaign for government action on the water and sanitation crisis.
  • Fundraise to support WaterAid’s work and mission.

Along the way you’ll develop useful skills and meet like-minded people, as well as gaining some fantastic experience to add to your CV. We'll write you a glowing reference, too.
