We are currently working directly in three key regions: Oromia, Amhara, and Tigray, as well as in the Addis Ababa City Administration. Nationally, we engage with key ministries including the Ministry of Water, Irrigation and Energy, and the Ministry of Health.
We are prioritising the Oromia and Amhara regions because of their high rates of poverty and poor access to water, sanitation, and hygiene. The populations in the two regions make up more than 60% of people in Ethiopia, so we are leveraging a Universal Access Plan via scale and influence.
