More than 163 million Indians lack access to safe drinking water. Water is a necessity for sustaining life but if the quality of water is affected, it can be hazardous.

At WaterAid, we work every day to make clean water accessible for everyone, everywhere. Our on-ground work spreads across the country, reaching far corners and marginalised communities.

You can play a big role in making our mission a reality.

Let’s give the most essential gift "Access to clean water". Support us to improve million of lives.

Why WaterAid?

WaterAid India is part of the global WaterAid network which seeks to improve access to clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene for everyone, everywhere.

We started in 1986 because no non-profit like us existed. We are determined to make clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene normal for everyone, everywhere within a generation. Only by tackling these three essentials, in ways that last, can people change their lives for good.
