An Assessment of School WASH Infrastructure and Hygiene Behaviours in Nine states 2016

An assessment of 453 schools in 34 districts across nine states of India to take stock of WASH services and infrastructure, understand the functionality and usage and know the status and awareness of hygiene including menstrual hygiene management (MHM). Water, sanitation, and hygiene in school aim to make a visible impact on the health and hygiene of children through improvement in their health and hygiene practices, and those of their families and the communities.
