Handbook on Accessible Household Sanitation for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs)

In spite of the enabling policies and guidelines at national and state level there has been challenges faced by implementers and service providers because of a lack of appropriate and cost effective technology options which are Persons with Disabilities (PwD) friendly, lack of skills to deal with PwDs, absence of adequate information on inclusive toilet designs not reaching the district and block functionaries, inherent existing challenges in inter-sectoral coordination and lack of skilled NGOs.
