We are calling for runners to join us the Osaka Marathon 2025 Charity, on Monday 24 February 2025, and deliver clean water for all.

WaterAid is an international not-for-profit organisation, determined to make clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene normal for everyone, everywhere.
Run the Osaka Marathon and deliver clean water for all.
India is one of the countries facing the serious water crises that threatens the lives of people. According to UN World Water development report, Currently, 600 million people are water-scarce, and it is projected that 40% of the population will not have access to safe drinking water by 2030. This water crisis is caused by multiple water problems in different regions, including groundwater depletion, poor water and sanitation infrastructure, water pollution, and the effects of climate change.
WaterAid has been working in India since 1984, supporting the government and local people to strengthen the water, sanitation and hygiene systems in the country. Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. We work in alliances. In the coming decade, our collective efforts will empower countless more people, enabling entire communities to lead healthier lives and build brighter futures.
Why you should join our team?
We will support you to make some wonderful memories at the Osaka Marathon 2025. We are currently planning to offer followings to our charity runners.

How to apply
Charity runners are representatives of both the charitable organization and the charity project itself, while collecting 70,000 yen of donations from supporters who are aligned with the charity runner. If donations from supporters do not reach the target amount, the charity runners themselves will need to cover the missing amount.

Share your fundraising page and call for donations. Once you achieve the minimum donation amount of 70,000 yen (including the initial donation of 1,000 made by the runners themselves), your charity runner place for the 2025 race will be secured. ※You may use other fundraising platforms, but please transfer the collected donations from Syncable before the deadline. |
