With a population of 54.4 million people, Myanmar stretches across four distinct geographical regions: mountains, central basin (dry zone), delta and the coasts.
Myanmar is one of the countries most affected by climate change, experiencing natural disasters including floods, cyclones, earthquakes and droughts.
By putting women, children and girls, persons with disabilities and other vulnerable groups in the heart of our work, we collaborate with the government and key stakeholders to deliver sustainable services that provide lasting change in communities. We are bringing more people the services they need including access to safe water and sanitation for rural as well as the urban poor, and menstrual hygiene management education and skills training for women and girls.
