WaterAid Malawi is a key player in the water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) sector, working closely with partners and stakeholders to make clean water, decent sanitation and good hygiene normal for everyone everywhere.
At a policy level, we have contributed towards strengthening systems for WASH service delivery and citizen’s engagement, and have influenced the adoption of tested technologies and approaches by other sector players.
Our work has significant impact on many aspects of human life such as health, education, nutrition and creation of economic opportunities. We believe that universal access to clean water, good sanitation and good hygiene practices will have a lasting impact in contributing towards the eradication of extreme poverty among the poorest and marginalized groups and communities in Malawi.
