MOU between WaterAid and Punjab Assembly

WaterAid inked a MOU with the Secretariat of the Provincial Assembly of Punjab. The partnership aims to ensure effective implementation of the constitutional role of law-making, oversight and representation by the members of the Punjab Assembly and improving the quality of legislation on WASH in Punjab.

WaterAid will provide support to the parliamentarians with research, knowledge and training helping them table resolutions, raising questions and engaging in parliamentary debates on WASH issues, publish and submit the yearly progress report of the provincial assembly business on WASH issues.

WaterAid has been working with the Punjab Assembly for few years and the MOU will formalise, transform and expand the work with the parliamentarians.
