Rameen's Water Story

“With an easy access to safe drinking water near my home, I feel happy and safe. Now, I am able to save and utilise a lot of time that was earlier spent only in fetching water home”.

Rameen, 12, a resident of Rab Dino Khushkhali village, district Thatta, Sindh province commented happily after collecting water from the WaterAid supported drinking water facility.

In March 2021, WaterAid Pakistan supported the installation of a bore-hole water supply scheme in village Rab Dino Khaskheli that comprises of 65 households. After post water quality test and upon declaration of this water fit for drinking, this scheme was handed over to community for further operations and use.
