Northumbrian Water is working with WaterAid to help bring clean water and decent toilets to over 70,000 people in Madagascar.
Currently in Madagascar almost 4,000 children under five die every year from diarrhoea caused by dirty water and poor toilets.
"As founding members of WaterAid in 1981, our employees have been raising money for over 30 years, to bring clean water and safe sanitation to countries around the world," says Louise Hunter, Chair of Northumbrian WaterAid Committee.
