What has WaterAid achieved?

Thanks to your incredible support, since 1981 we’ve reached over 27 million people with clean water. But we can’t stop there.

How many people don't have clean water?

Statistics can look stark. Around the world, 1 in 10 people don’t have clean water close to home. And 1 in 4 don't have a decent toilet of their own.

By working together, we can reach everyone, everywhere within a generation – and transform millions more lives for good.

Please note: all statistics on the WaterAid website are from , unless otherwise stated.
