Crack the Crises

Join us to crack the crises

WaterAid is part of a coalition of over 50 organisations – together representing over 10 million people from across the UK – working towards a better future for all.

In 2021, the UK will host two critical summits: the G7 in June, and the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26) in November. With the world facing challenges such as COVID-19, injustice and climate change, UK decision-makers have an opportunity to demonstrate their leadership at home and abroad.

That’s why organisations from across the UK, advocating for a better future for people and planet, have come together in this new coalition. We want to bring people together to tackle these crises by taking individual actions, by supporting others, and by asking decision-makers to act.

We know we have the power to create a better future, both through what we demand from those leaders, and through the action we take in our own lives and neighbourhoods. This can be a massive year of people power, if we set ourselves one big task: now is the time to crack the crises.

We must:

These are real crises – but they are solvable, especially if we spot the connections between them. By coming together, we can get things back into balance and restore the relationships that have been broken.

Join us in 2021 to help crack the crises: together we can tackle COVID-19, injustice and climate change.
