Event information

This is your chance to take part in the world’s greatest free festival of cycling. Whatever your age or ability, you can join in this celebration of cycling and help provide clean water and handwashing facilities to stop the spread of coronavirus.

The weekend of 15 and 16 August would have been Prudential RideLondon, one of the biggest and best cycling festivals in the country. Although we can't all ride together, we can still join together to celebrate cycling and support UK charities.

Whether its by bike, wheelchair, scooter, or skateboard, and no matter the distance, your movement and your fundraising will make a difference to those around the world trying to survive without clean water close to home.

Why we need your help

WaterAid Malawi distributed handwashing facilities and supplies to Bwaila Hospital.
WaterAid
Our team in Malawi building handwashing facilities at a hospital, to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

We all know handwashing is one of the first lines of defence against coronavirus, but globally 4 in 10 people don’t have anywhere to wash their hands. Our teams are racing to reach more communities than ever with clean water and information about good hygiene.

Just £100 could provide 500 bars of soap in West Africa. Will you help us reach more families with these life-saving essentials?

You can use JustGiving or Virgin Money to collect sponsorship for your challenge. Share your page with friends and family!

Or if you'd prefer, you can give a one-off donation to take part.
