World Water Day 22 March
World Water Day is a global day of action and a chance to come together to remind the world of the one in nine people who don't have clean water close to home... yet.
Hundreds of people are already going #Blue4Water – from rocking up to work in the loudest blue outfit imaginable, to organising a blue themed karaoke night or a sponsored danceathon. All that the party's missing, is you!
World Water Day 2018
Did you know, if you lined up the number of people worldwide living without clean water close to home (844 million), the queue would stretch from Earth to beyond the moon?
And what does that mean exactly? It means long walks (especially for women and girls), reliance on dirty ponds and streams, illness and in too many cases, death.
This World Water Day we want you to take action and help shorten that queue.
