Event information

A huge thanks to everyone who helped us turn the world #Blue4Water this World Water Day!

Thousands of you went #Blue4Water to mark World Water Day 2017 on 22 March – in celebration of the nine in ten who now have clean water and to remind the world one in ten still don't.

From dressing in blue and eating blue cakes to lighting up landmarks in blue in places from Portsmouth to Tokyo, you pulled out all the stops to spread blue vibes and shine a light on the global water crisis.

Our plans for 2018

We'll be revealing our plans for World Water Day 2018 soon – we can't wait to turn the world blue again!

"Before fetching water was the toughest task I had to deal with, but now it’s the easiest as there's a new tap just behind our house!"
