Get involved

If you’re looking for a simple way to support WaterAid, signing up to payroll giving could be the answer.

How it works

The scheme works by deducting your donation to WaterAid directly from your salary. Best of all, it’s tax free – so every £1 you give will only cost you 80p (or if you're a higher rate tax payer, 60p).

That means your gift will go even further in getting clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene to everyone, everywhere – and the difference really does add up.

More than 5,000 of our supporters have already taken part in the scheme, raising an incredible £8 million so far!

Setting up payroll giving at your company

Payroll giving is great for your company’s image and increasing staff morale, retention and recruitment.

The scheme also boosts your charity giving easily (and at little cost to you), while letting you see the amount of money your staff are raising.

To offer the scheme, employers need to be registered with a Payroll Giving Agency (PGA).

It's easy and free to set up.

What others say

Highlighting WaterAid's work and the huge impact donations would have on people's lives really motivated staff, and payroll giving was an easy way for them to give their support.
