What is Menstrual Hygiene Day?
On any given day, more than 300 million people are on their period – but a quarter of them have to manage without essential clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene knowledge.
Why talk about menstrual hygiene in the classroom?
We believe that everyone who menstruates – whoever they are, and wherever they live in the world – should be able to manage their period in a hygienic way, with privacy, safety and dignity. And we can't achieve this until we start talking about periods openly, stimulating important debate and real change.
