Learn about the importance of clean water

Book a free trained WaterAid Speaker to deliver an engaging and educational session, which can be tailored to suit your group's needs.

What's involved?

Our WaterAid workshops are curriculum based and include educational quizzes, interactive games and learning exercises. Our sessions inspire group thinking and discussion around clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene as a force for good that can transform people’s lives around the world. Our workshops are for a maximum of 30 learners, are suitable for Year 3 learners onwards and can be tailored depending on the learners' requirements.

Free educational resources

In support of your educational workshop why not download our free educational resources, watch our educational films, listen to our songs, play our online games and quizzes.

How do I organise a workshop?

Fill in the form below to request a workshop, and we'll do our best to find a volunteer local to you. You can outline any specific requirements in the field marked 'additional information'.

As all of our workshops are run by volunteers, please allow a minimum of five weeks' notice for us to process your request. This may take longer if your requested date is several months away.

WaterAid is fortunate to have over 200 volunteer Speakers based across the UK, visiting over 500 organisations every year. The health, safety and well-being of the Speaker volunteers is of the highest priority to us and as such during the Coronavirus outbreak we are operating with a significantly reduced capacity. Whilst requests for volunteer Speakers can be made up to 6 months in advance, please be aware that we are unlikely to have available volunteer Speakers for visits in the upcoming weeks and months. Thank you for your understanding.

As such, take a look at the following resources, that may be useful for your group:

You need to be over 18 years of age to complete this form. If you're a student please make sure a teacher fills in this form.
