Our passionate volunteer Speakers bring WaterAid's work to life, inspiring people across the UK to take action and reach everyone, everywhere with clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene.

What's the Speaker Network?

Our Speaker Network is made up of more than 300 trained volunteers (and counting!) who give free talks across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Last year alone our volunteers spoke to more than 100,000 people about our work and what local communities can do to help, visiting youth and faith groups, schools and service organisations across the country.

Our Speakers come from all walks of life, from students to retirees and everyone between. The one thing they all have in common is a dedication to sharing WaterAid's work and sparking change, to help people living in some of the toughest places in the world transform their lives.

How do I book a Speaker?

Booking a WaterAid Speaker is simple. Just request a talk by filling in our form, and we'll do our best to put you in touch with one of our brilliant volunteers.

Tell us what sparks your interest the most and your Speaker will tailor their talk to meet your needs. Then you can look forward to welcoming them on your chosen date!

Reviews

"The Speaker was well prepared and delivered a very interesting talk. She aimed it at the age of the children and made good use of questioning. We will certainly be using the website for stimulus for class work and look forward to raising funds for this worthwhile cause."
