Fancy a challenge? We're looking for inspiring public speakers with a passion for WaterAid to join our Speaker Network.

What does a WaterAid Speaker do?

Our Speakers give inspiring talks about WaterAid and our goal: to get clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene to everyone, everywhere within a generation.

WaterAid Speakers come from all walks of life. They commit to delivering at least four talks a year, acting as ambassadors within their community and engaging the public about what we do.

If you’re confident, have a cheerful disposition and a basic understanding of our work, this could be the role for you!

Tom is a prominent Rotary Club member and long-time WaterAid supporter, and has been a Speaker for WaterAid for more than 16 years. He was inspired to support us by his wife, Primrose.

"Primrose was working for Thames Water and was an active WaterAid Speaker. I was so impressed with the work of WaterAid, I felt that I would like to become a volunteer Speaker also. In the year 2000, I gave my first talk jointly with Primrose."

"Since then I have given over 300 talks to Rotary clubs, schools, faith groups, scouts and the Women's Institute, and get a great deal of satisfaction from doing so."

Elizabeth is also a long-time supporter of WaterAid and member of the Speaker Network.
