What we do

WaterAid's policy team work to change government policy at national and international levels, to ensure the poorest communities gain access to water and sanitation services.

Our Global Policy Team based in the UK, along with country programme staff, provide insights into why there are bottlenecks in preventing governments delivering services and work to remove them.

To find out more about our work, and our thematic focus areas, please visit our policy and advocacy website WASH Matters.

Opportunities

Is research and analysis your thing? Do you understand how policy change happens? Can you turn research and analysis into effective advocacy messages?

The Policy team may accept short-term, part-time volunteers for practical work experience opportunities, shadowing members of the team and assisting with ongoing tasks.

Please note that this is not an application for a specific role, but to register your interest in working with the policy team. We'll respond to you if an opportunity becomes available that matches your profile.
