Are you ready to change normal? Every penny you donate between 1 November and 31 January will be doubled by the UK Government (up to £5 million). That means twice as many lives will be transformed with clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene.

What is the Untapped appeal all about?

This winter we invite you to Tombohuaun, Sierra Leone. Join Morie and Joe Smart (pictured above) and the rest of their village, and share their joy when clean water arrives for the first time.

During the Untapped appeal, the UK Government will match up to £5 million of donations between 1st November 2017 and 31st January 2018. That means that every penny raised by fantastic fundraisers like you will make double the difference.

How can I promote my fundraising challenge?

If you are planning to raise money online, set up a using our . Share your page with friends and family, post it on social media and email it around at work. If you want to go one step further, use our template  to try and secure some local press coverage.

What WaterAid materials can I get for my fundraising?

We'd love to send you some WaterAid goodies to help you with your fundraising. We have collection tins and buckets, banners, tablecloths, stickers and T-shirts, as well as sponsorship forms, leaflets and posters. Email us at  and we'll send them out to you.

How can I pay in my money?

If you've raised money on JustGiving or VirginMoneyGiving, your job is done! All the online donations made to your fundraising page are automatically transferred over to WaterAid and allocated to your total.

If you've raised money offline, you can send in your fundraising by making a bank transfer, sending us a cheque, or paying in your money over the phone.
