As the COVID-19 pandemic threatens our global community, work to bring clean water, decent sanitation and good hygiene to everyone, everywhere has never been more critical.
Our teams around the world are sharing the crucial hygiene messages we must all follow to keep each other safe from coronavirus, and working to provide lasting access to water, sanitation and hygiene essentials, so people can defend against and build resilience to COVID-19 and other contagious diseases.
Our global response to COVID-19
WaterAid Japan joined our global federation in 2013, and since then have been making change happen.
They’ve been forging links with the Japanese Government, currently the largest water and sanitation donor in the world.
They’ve been building national and international partnerships, speaking at the Tokyo International Conference on African Development, Finance for Development, and the UN General Assembly.
And they’ve been inspiring new supporters to help reach everyone, everywhere with clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene within a generation.
