Everyone who works at WaterAid makes a vital contribution towards a world where everyone can access clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene. Here in New York we work on raising essential funds all year round to ensure our country programs have the necessary resources and means to deliver clean water, decent toilets and hygiene education to the communities that need it most. Will you join us?
Voices from the Field
Meet the dedicated team of photographers collecting stories from the communities where we work.
When you support our work, we make a promise: to share stories of the people whose lives are being transformed with clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene, thanks to you.
How do we collect those stories? We have a team of eight dedicated Voices from the Field officers. The newest addition is from Ethiopia, the first woman to join the team! The officers are local to the countries we work in, they regularly gather photos, films and interviews from the communities you’re supporting – no matter how remote the location. The results are always remarkable.
The Voices From the Field team captures the hearts and stories of the people we work with and they do so in a way that respects each person’s dignity. Learn why we believe ethical images are important or check out our image policy.
